So I did pick up a copy of Final Fantasy XIII on Wednesday, and since I don't actually live in a situation depicted in the comic, I've spent most of my free time since then playing it, and so far good. Some of the characters seemed a bit recycled (a topic I'll touch on later), and I do miss the classic victory fanfare, but right now just fifteen hours into the game I must say I'm enjoying it.
