If you're been paying attention to the site, I'm sure you're aware that I'm a Mass Effect fan. Mass Effect is the Reese's peanut butter cup of the video game world, mixing both RPG and shooter, two great tastes that taste great together. The fist Mass Effect was a bit lax on the shooter elements though, mpst noticably was the lack of ammo in the game, but in game lore explained why you never needed to reload your gun, using SUPER SCIENCE! However, when the second game came out they added a little more shooter to the mix and added an ammo system into the game. This, however, meant they'd have to retcon the original gun system out of existence. Oh and retcon they did, and like most retcons it doesn't make much sense and quick frankly I don't buy it.
